Function of NTC Temperature Sensor for Battery of Sweeper

2. Working principle of NTC temperature sensor

NTC (Negative Temperature Coefficient) temperature sensor is a component based on the principle of thermistor, which is characterized by rising temperature and resistance value. Using this feature, the sensor can convert the temperature change into a number and feed back to the sweeper control system, so as to realize intelligent temperature control.

In battery applications, NTC sensors are usually directly attached to the surface of the battery pack to monitor temperature changes in real time and form a linkage with the control system.

When the battery temperature rises beyond the safety threshold, the NTC sensor will send out a signal at the first time, and the control system will automatically charge the power or switch to the protection to avoid further heating.

Higher precision: upgraded to ± 0.1 °C level, supporting stricter safety control;

Intelligent linkage: deeply integrated with battery management system (BMS) to achieve full life cycle management;
